Biography: |
| | an award-winning graduate of the Ontario College of Art and Design (Honours Painting and Drawing 2002). The focus of her work has been large abstracted urbanscapes of downtown Toronto, images of the Georgian Bay area near her Craigleith home and, “because human gestures fascinate me”, she continues to work with the figure - especially portraits and figurescapes. A professional visual artist, Pat has been invited to participate in a variety of juried shows where her paintings have won prizes. Recently, she won “Juror’s Choice” at Neilson Park Annual Juried Show in Toronto. She shows regularly in commercial and public venues, and also instructs. Her work has been acquired by private and commercial collectors in Canada, the United States, Mexico and the United Kingdom as well as appearing on the covers of books published in Canada. |
